Kawas

Kawas is a barangay of the philippine municipality Alabel in the province Sarangani in SOCCSKSARGEN which is part of the Mindanaogroup of islands.

Kawas belongs to the barangays of Municipality Alabel which are in the outlying area.

The municipality Alabel with a population of about 71,872 and its 12 barangays belong to the partly urban areas in the Philippines. While some of the barangays developed modern urban structures, some others, especially those which are seated in the outlying areas, remained rural.By the end of 2007 Kawas had 5,167 residents.

A Case of the Mistaken, Mean Sister Read

"As a college student, I was teaching a Sunday school class of third graders. One of the eight-year-olds, Kirsten, regularly had prayer requests regarding her awful, mean, grouchy big sister. About a year later, a friend I worked with was pitching to me how I should take her out. I told him I’d heard about her from her little sister. He laughed  and told me that Kirsten had three sisters and Willa was definitely not the mean one. So – a year late – I told Willa,'Thanks for the Christmas card.' I'm just a simple girl nothing so extraordinary but I used to start having an interest taking care of some tarantula last week of june in this year.

- This is my 3 mos. Old baby. She is Loi-Loi. She is just a baby tarantula.

Life and Love
